Sent to Shine.
Called to Serve.
Light To The World Church is a Spirit-filled, family-oriented community shining Christ’s love in Hartford and beyond—where worship is real, people are valued, and lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The heart behind our name
“You are the light of the world.”
MATTHEW 5:14 · NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE
Our mission
To know God, grow in faith, and share His love with the world.
Our name comes from Matthew 5:14–15. Jesus describes His followers as a visible city on a hill and a lamp that gives light to a home. We believe His love is meant to be seen in the way we live. Through worship, growing faith, and everyday acts of compassion, we seek to reflect Christ and point people to Him.
